At the second annual DC Capital Striders 8K, 280 registered and 198 finished, twice as many as last year, raising more the $5,000 for American Red Cross International Response Fund in Haiti.
Anthony Calingo ran way ahead of the pack, and Emily Perryman finished fifth overall to pace the women.
A fine picnic and awards followed the race.
